This ensures that the fleet can enter and exit maintenance year-round, eliminating the risk of stranded assets due to insufficient draft, an advantage that positions INAVE above regional competition.

Riverine Know-How
We possess specific engineering expertise for shallow-draft waterways. While the industry in Brazil tends to be more standardized, we specialize in adapting vessels to maintain their maximum load capacity on the most complex stretches of the Paraguay River, maximizing shipowner profitability. We design and implement Sponsons — lateral watertight compartments that increase volumetric displacement to reduce operational draft, turning the river’s constraints into a competitive advantage.

Shore-Base Model
The infrastructure of INAVE serves as a comprehensive support base where shipowners can consolidate their logistics, berth, and private workshops at a single strategic point, reducing towing times and unnecessary fleet movements. We also offer the possibility of building dedicated industrial facilities, warehouses, and corporate offices within our premises (a Build-to-Suit model), as well as hosting and providing operational support for clients’ floating docks, taking full advantage of the guaranteed natural depth along our riverfront.

Maneuver Autonomy
At INAVE, we operate our own harbor tugs for towing and convoy formation. This provides superior operational autonomy, as clients do not depend on third parties to move their barges within the service area, speeding up local operational processes.
