Our infrastructure
INAVE GROUP operates two shipyards across from Asunción, one on each bank of the Paraguay River, dedicated to the construction, conversion and repair of inland vessels.
Our welders and marine fitters hold international qualifications and work with RINA-approved welding procedures, marine-grade steel compliant with ASTM A131, and to the standards of IACS Recommendation No. 47.
We build and repair vessels adapted to the specific conditions of the Hidrovía (draft fluctuations, large convoy maneuvering and the need for immediate technical response), both on the slipway and afloat.

Our services
1.
Newbuilding & Conversion
We build and convert pushboats, barges, sand carriers, dredgers, workboats, floating cranes and multipurpose vessels, tailored to the operational demands of the Hidrovía. Every project is handled end to end at our shipyards, from engineering to launch.
2.
Ship Repair
We carry out general repairs to hulls and adjacent structures at both shipyards, including removal and repair of shaft lines, propellers, rudders, bushings and valves, both on the slipway and afloat.
3.
Sandblasting & Painting
We apply sandblasting and certified marine coatings to ensure the structural protection and durability of every vessel we work on.
4.
Naval Engineering
Our shipyards have an in-house engineering department for the full development of newbuilding and conversion projects. Our engineers use specialized software (AutoCAD, Maxsurf, Rhino) and work to the standards of the leading classification societies (DNV, ABS, Lloyd’s Register, RINA and ClassNK), ensuring technical precision and regulatory compliance on every project.
