INAVE GROUP operates two shipyards on the Paraguayan stretch of the Paraguay-Paraná Waterway, across from Asunción, one on each bank of the river.
Convoys operating on this stretch cannot afford long stoppages: every day out of service is cargo that isn’t moving. That is why our location is key. We service vessels without detours, on the slipway or afloat, and keep the time between breakdown and repair to a minimum.
Being minutes from Asunción also simplifies logistics: suppliers, spare parts and technical staff within immediate reach, and direct access for shipowners and surveyors who want to follow their projects in person.
And when a vessel cannot stop, our 24/7 technical standby team goes out to meet it.

Our main shipyard, in Nueva Asunción, offers consistent natural depth, even during low-water periods. Vessels can enter and leave maintenance all year round, with no forced technical stoppages due to insufficient draft.

Paraguay offers more competitive operating costs, skilled labor and tax burden than other countries in the region. This allows us to submit competitive quotes for complex jobs without compromising international quality standards.

Build-to-suit infrastructure
Within our premises, we build industrial buildings, warehouses and offices for the client’s exclusive use under a Build-to-Suit model. We also provide berthing and operational support for third-party floating docks.

Restricted-draft engineering
We have specific engineering know-how for restricted-draft waters. We adapt vessels so they maintain their cargo capacity on the most demanding stretches of the Paraguay River. We design and install sponsons, watertight side compartments that increase displacement and reduce operating draft.
